Before you start
- Miro Enterprise API access.
- A Company Admin authorised to install the app.
Read-only permissions
| Setting | Purpose / value |
|---|---|
| organizations:read | Read organisation members and their organisation-level information. |
| organizations:teams:read | Read teams and team membership. |
Connect Miro
- Use your Miro developer team to create a dedicated KeySkope app.
- Select only organizations:read and organizations:teams:read. Do not copy the write scopes from broader vendor examples.
- Have a Company Admin install and authorise the app for the organisation to be reviewed.
- Copy the access token securely and record the organisation ID from Company settings.
- Enter the organisation ID and token in KeySkope, run a sync and compare a member’s organisation role and team membership.
Connection fields
| Setting | Purpose / value |
|---|---|
| org_id | Miro organisation ID. |
| access_token | App token with the two read scopes. |
What appears in KeySkope
- Organisation members, available licence and role details, teams and team membership.
- Available last activity is a usage signal, not necessarily an interactive login. No board contents are collected.
Verify the first sync
- Wait for the sync to finish and review its status and any partial-collection notes.
- Compare the same account population in both systems. Check an account identifier, status and assigned role—not just the total.
- For a controlled test account, change its access in the source, sync again and verify the result. Keep approvals in your normal process.
- Record the credential owner and expiry. Rotate the credential in the source, update KeySkope and verify another sync before retiring the old credential.
Troubleshooting
| Setting | Purpose / value |
|---|---|
| 403 | Confirm Enterprise entitlement, Company Admin authorisation and the two read scopes. |
| Wrong organisation | Check that the token and organisation ID refer to the same organisation. |
